Holiday Inn Express Statesboro by IHG

Tried to check in earlier, we were told rooms not ready, come back at 3:00, we did, still no rooms. Regular check in is at 4pm. We returned at 4pm, still no rooms. We finally got into our room at about 4:20. Our room, a King Suite was very utilitarian but ok. Bed was ok, pillows were flat and terrible. I have never seen soma yet stains in the hallways of a hotel. Everywhere even in the corners or next to a wall. It served it's purpose but, ill probably try a different place next time.

I've stayed at this Stateboro, Ga. HIE 44 times in the last 12 month (no kidding..44) on business. Well run. Clean. Terrific staff. Good parking, internet and free breadkfast. When you spend as much time as I have there you get to know people. These are genuinely nice people whom will do everything they can to make your stay with them a good experience.

The front staff was awesome. We came late and the young lady at the front desk I believe her name was Kami. She was so wonderful. She offered us extra towels for our kids. She went above and beyond expectations. She met us at the end with the luggage cart. She helped my wife with the bags while I moved the car. She was great! Breakfast was ok too. The housekeepers were so friendly and pleasant.

The customer service was superb! Check-in was flawless. They gave coaches and team a welcome gift. The next day, I requested to use the lobby for team bonding and they granted the request. During the training, I noticed the lobby music was a little too loud. I asked if the music could be lowered and without any hesitation a staff member granted my request. Lastly, Ms. Terry or Tee-Tee was a such a delight. We had a tournament that started at 630, but the breakfast didn't start until that time. I asked her if my team could eay breakfast around 0615 and with enthusiasm she and the pantry crew opened the kitchen little early for our young people. This may not be protocol, but this is definitely excellent customer service!

Rachel at the front desk was amazing! She went above and beyond to make my group feel welcomed. We love staying at this hotel when we’re in town!

Well to start I made my reservation with Jasmin over the phone. What a pleasure. She handled everything so professionally and knowledgeable. I was surprised to learn she wasn't the manager. Next Reyna and Karly in the kitchen was very pleasant as well. What a pleasure. I was there for 3 days for work and the night clerk Kami was so funny and nice. She even hand delivered my door dash order because the delivery guy couldn't go up. Kris in housekeeping is the nicest I've ever met. Our room was so clean and attention to detail was met. The bathroom was a little tight but with everything else being so great we didn't mind. Brent was also very welcoming. You have a great staff keep up the good work!

I’ve been staying in motels for 30 years working. I’ve never met a director of sales like Amber. She went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect!!

Clean rooms and common areas, updated decor, good breakfast selection with a friendly staff. And for a price I have paid for a lesser hotel. I recommend this one for a good place to stay on your way south or north on 301.
